i've been feeling small lately . but i guess that's okay because i know it's the reality . i'm a tiny cog inside a tiny cog that moves a tiny piece of this cold analogue machine . it's so mean . with it's gears all crashing and crushing between it's teeth . consuming all the tiny cogs with their tiny cogs all working to muscle these creaking arms . that grasp us and eat up the spaces between us . consuming the stones and the oceans and they feed us . telling us we need more . and to get it we must give it more . but i don't want to give it more . but my cogs are all tied up with the cogs next door . and i'm tunneled by horrors all tied at the core . far too many horrors than a cog can account for . we've been pitted against our greatest defenses and building fences to keep our greed in . if more does mean happy than why aren't we happy and why are we blind to the cogs that are suffering . and like me who are you to fight for what you can't do to find only more bonds for you to bite through . this monster is scary . this monster is sick and will chew you up and spit you back out . this monster is scary . this monster is hiding but looking so shiny to keep you quiet . we've been pitted against our greatest defenses and building fences to hide our reflection. if more does mean happy than why aren't we happy and why are we blind to the cogs that are broken . and like me who are you to fight for what you can't do to find only more bonds for you to bite through . this monster is scary . this monster is sick and will chew you up and spit you back out . this monster is scary . this monster is hiding but looking so shiny to keep you quiet .
